Oral Systemic Links - with Charles Whitney, MD

Dr. Charles Whitney graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1990 and completed his family practice residency at the David Grant United States Air Force Medical Center. He is double Board Certified in the specialties of Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. His experience includes seven years as an Air Force physician and six years in the University of Pennsylvania Health System before establishing his “concierge” practice in 2003. That year, forward thinkers within the University of Pennsylvania recognized that our broken medical system has damaged the doctor/patient relationship and asked Dr. Whitney to establish their pilot practice. PENNCare Plus was the second ”concierge” practice in the state of Pennsylvania. After a business plan change within the PENN organization, Dr. Whitney assumed ownership of the practice on July 1, 2004 and changed the name to Revolutionary Health Services.

Dr. Whitney has always had a passion for promoting health and wellness, and has implemented several programs to help his patients create optimal health. His latest is to implement a cutting edge heart attack and stroke prevention program which is the basis for this series. The method involves collaboration with dentists since the oral-systemic link to disease is now unequivocal.

He is making the heart attack and stroke prevention program available to readers of this site. Since the method is a prevention program, is not necessary to be local to southeastern PA. For more information, see his website at www.revolutionaryhealthservices.com
